(blue lynx point Neva Maquerade)

We love Siberian cats.

Our adventure began with a search for a hypoallergenic cat for my son. We spent weeks researching the pros and cons of different hypo-allergenic breeds. Until then we weren't aware of this breed of loving, fluffy cats. After sharing our home with one, we're in love! Siberian cats are smart, loving and oh so touchable.

After spending so much time and effort finding a Siberian kitten of our own, we wanted to make them more available for others looking for the same qualities in a cat. Bella Siberian Cats is a very small cattery - our single queen is also our beloved family pet.

Before you decide to buy a kitten, please read through the considerations. Answering these questions will help you decide whether a Siberian kitten is right for your family.

If you want a cat that is better suited for people with allergies or eczema and you'd like to add a Siberian cat to your family, check out our kittens.

Our focus is always on the ultimate health and  wellness of

our kittens/cats, and we extend this responsibility and belief

system to our adoptive families. Our expectations take into

consideration the realities of life by asking that if you find that

you are unable to properly care for your Siberian cat, you return

it to us.

We are located in Bellingham,  Washington about 80 miles

north of Seattle and 85km South of Vancouver, BC. Our Siberian

cattery is convenient to Whatcom and Skagit Counties. We offer

Siberian kittens to the Pacific Northwest (PNW), the United

States and the whole world. We partner with Pet Connect on

Alaska Airlines, or as pet nannies who fly with your new Siberian

kittens to your local airport.

      Health and Testing

Our breeding cats have been tested for genetic health risks

  • Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)

  • Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PK-Def)

  • Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA)

  • Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS types I, VI, VII), Cystinuria (Types 1A, B), Factor XII deficiency, and Gangliosidosis (GM1, GM2)

If any indication of heart disease is found to be present in the breeding line, we will also test for HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy). We are also applying to start allergen testing with Lundberg.

Our Siberian kittens are truly our pride and joy. We take the responsibility of breeding seriously, and of finding superior homes for our kittens even more so. Our kittens are registered with TICA and Bella Siberians is also a member of the CFA (Cat Fancier's Association).

Other terms for Siberian cats are Russian Forest Cat, Moscow Semi-Longhair and Moscow Longhair
